WHEN I SHALL SMILE AGAIN
It's been days
It's been weeks
It's been months
Since I saw my own smile.
When I shall smile again
Not out of lack of words
Not out of frustration
Not out of confusion and hopelessness.
When I shall smile again
For finding my real self again
For overcoming depression
For being able to avoid the abusive blame game.
When I shall smile again
Knowing that I'm alive for a purpose
Knowing that God thinks about me
Knowing that success is mine.
When I shall smile again
I shall love again
I shall care about others again
I shall be happy again.
When I shall smile again
Then I will know that ALL IS WELL
When I shall smile again
I will say to myself,
"YOU CAN DO IT"
